This policy describes what information Helionis ("we," "us") collects when you use helionis.org, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have designed this site to collect as little as possible.
Your assessment answers stay in your browser
The questions you answer in the Helionis assessment — including information about your medical condition, work history, and claim — are processed entirely on your own device. They are not transmitted to our servers, and we cannot see them. They are held temporarily in your browser's session storage and are discarded when your browsing session ends.
Information we do collect
- Intake form submissions. If you choose to submit the client intake form, the information you provide (contact details, claim stage, condition, and related answers) is transmitted to us so we can review and respond to your request. It is used solely for that purpose. We do not sell or share intake information with third parties for their marketing.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on Stripe's own secure checkout pages. Your card details are provided directly to Stripe and never pass through or reside on this site. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's privacy policy.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic (such as number of visitors, pages viewed, and general geographic region). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device and usage information as described in Google's privacy policy. We do not connect analytics data to your assessment answers.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., may process standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site. Intake form submissions are also stored on Netlify's form service until we export and remove them.
How intake information is used and kept
Intake submissions are used to evaluate your request, contact you about it, and, if representation follows, to begin your file. Submissions are retained only as long as needed for those purposes and are periodically exported and deleted from our hosting provider's systems. If you do not become a client, you may request deletion of your submission at any time.
Your choices
- You can use the assessment without providing any personal information at all.
- You can decline cookies or use browser privacy tools to limit analytics collection.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of intake information you have submitted by contacting us.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
